This week in class, we began to wrap up and review our 3rd Unit in preparation for our exam next week. On Friday we reviewed for the upcoming exam with a Who Wants to be a Millionaire quiz. I have included that in this post.

Next week May 12th - May 16th is my last week with you all. It has been very fun and I will remember all of you. Thank you for baring with me as I evolve through my teaching skills in my process of becoming a teacher. Believe it or not you have all helped me in more ways than you would know. Good luck to all of you in your future endeavors and I KNOW all of you will be successful and happy in whatever you choose to do.

This week we began the end of the 3rd Unit as we began to learn about the business cycle. We learned about monetary and fiscal policy and the government's role in the economy. We traded Finance Friday for Money Monday this week and looked at some TED Talks.

Week #13 and 14: April 7 - April18
Week 13 was working on GDP and reading Naked Economics by Charles Wheelan. Than on Friday we looked at a Finance Friday on Loans, Grants and Scholarships. Week 14, we finished GDP and GDP Growth and moved onto the remaining macroeconomic indicators (CPI and Unemployment). We looked at some interesting statistics and we learned about the poor. On Friday we were able to have Finance Friday and learned a little about Stocks and Investing.

Week #12: March 31st - April 4th
This week in class, we went over the Unit 2 exam. We then got introduced to how Macro-economics works. The first part of Macro-economics is GDP (Gross Domestic Product). We learned how GDP affects how a national economy functions. We also learned about different limitations of GDP and how they affect it. There are a lot of real life situations that affect GDP.

This week in class, we spent the majority of our time reviewing for the exam and then taking the actual test on Block day. On Friday, we had a Finance Friday.
