Week #1: January 8th - January 10th

Hello! I would like to welcome you to Economics at Bear Creek High School. My name is Mr. Martinez and I will be using this blog/website to keep you updated and informed in my class. Please make sure to check back often (at least once a week) to make sure you have a grasp of what is going on in class and to find any extra handouts.

This week we went over class basics including what "Economics" is and what the class is about. We also briefly touched on the topic of scarcity and we discussed the semester-long community service project. As a reminder, the due dates for community service are as follows:

Parent Acknowledgement and Research due Friday Sept. 6th
Volunteer Agreement due Friday September 27th
Final Service Hours and 2-3 Page Reflection due Friday December 6th
